What L. Ron Hubbard thinks about women. . .

"The historian can peg the point where a society begins its sharpest decline at the instant when women begin to take part, on an equal footing with men, in political and business affairs, since this means that the men are decadent and the women are no longer women. This is not a sermon on the role or position of women; it is a statement of bald and basic fact." -L. Ron Hubbard.

That's from "A Woman's Creativity," a chapter omitted from reprints of Hubbard's 1965 book Scientology: A New Slant on Life. In "A Woman's Creativity," but there is no new slant given by Hubbard except to hand him your cash so he can fill your mind with false memories about previous lives.

Conservatives gave Sharron Angle a pass on the subject of her relationship with $cientology which tells me that a lot of folks just don't have a clue as to what this criminal, paramilitary cult is about. -Zee Olde Prospector.

Forced abortions in Scientology

The St. Pete Times recently ran a series of stories about coerced abortions in Scientology, this is the group that Sharron Angle supports. She is running against Harry Reid in the Nevada senate race.

But the charges are nothing new. Over the years hundreds of similar complaints have been made.

Early morning posts are not reliable, NV Senate race

But even so I will take a stab at it coffee cup at hand. I am very concerned about a candidate that has ties to either Scientology or Narconon, which is simply Scientology by another name. Wherever Scientology shows it's ugly mug there are the scandals to prove it. Court cases too. My God, how could that Sharron Angle get involved with those jerks? Scientology is known for human rights abuses, theft, wrongful deaths and above all, sheer greed! So what is a Tea Party candidate doing with them?? -The old prospector. Still looking for a heart of gold or at least a kiss next to the camp fire with my gal, if I had one that is.
